Are Lizzie's the right ski for me

I'm thinking about this ski and i live in ontario, i normally go out west about twice a year to get some powder skiing in and i love the performance and feel of fat skis. Right now i ride a set of anthems and want something wider but that will still perform decently in powder but i want it to kill the groomers.

I'm 5'11 160

think i should up it to bacons or should i stay with lizzies cause i'm in ontario.
 
you might be a little too big for the lizzies cuz they only come in 172 length and thats a little short for a pow ski under someone your size...id check out the bacons
 
Bacons are an absolutely sick all mtn. ski.

They kill groomers and obviously pow, they are alright in chop too and anything.

I've ridden mine in the park a little bit, I haven't spun more than 180 on them just cause I have anthems for that. I did do a butter 3 over a roller last weekend on t hem on accident so they are a fun ass ski.

I'd consider Bacons an all mtn. ski even though they slash pow too. I mounted mine at +2 (-2from true center) and I like it a lot, if you plan on skiing a lot of pow mount them at maybe recommended or just +1 but if you like to ski switch all around the place then do +2.

Definitely go Bacons instead of Lizzies for your size, I'm 5'9 150 lbs. and they are perfect for me. Having Bacons and Anthems is such a sick quiver, you won't be disappointed. I have Jesters on my Bacons too and love them, might wanna check those out too.
 
I wouldn't exactly say they kill groomers. They aren't bad but if you are mainly using them for groomers they are too fat. If you were a little smaller i would say go for lizzies but i think they will be just a tiny bit too small for you. If you ask me I would go for something with less width in the waste. Something with like a 90-100 waste will still be awesome for the amount of pow you ski but will be alot mor enjoyable on groomers. I dont take my bacons out unless there is at least 15cms, otherwise they are just overkill.

I would go for like an ARV or a seth or something and if you really like ur skis short maybe a lizzie but i would stay away from bacons if u only get a couple pow days

 
I say they do KILL groomers. I don't use them as a groomer ski, mostly pow, but I took them the other night just to fuck around and i had more fun that I did with my Anthems all day (and Anthems are fun as fuck too), Bacons are just such a fun ski.
