Are lincoln lops hard

I can do backflips andfrontflips and lincolns on the tramp.. .. at least I used to be able to. Now i just do a back flip. We have a nice powder jump so any pointers on a lincoln would be nice.

just throw to the side pretend you doing a cartwheel while moving forward thats what i did and it seemed to work

-Cause im a Cracka-

all i do is like focus on throwing your head towards your boot.. i dunno..i learned on trampolines first and then just hucked

yah, just chuck your head down, it's just like a cartwheel, probably easier than a backflip, keep your eyes focused on one point on the horizon or your landing or whatever, just don't move your eyes from a spot and your body will rotate around nicely. You can start throwing in a late 180 too if you want.

iv never tried them on skis, but the way i do lincolns on the trampoline is to throw your leading hand to your opposite heel. this way it is easy to add a japan or lui kang. so do that and keep your eyes fixed on a sopot on the horizon like someone else said. this is how ill try them this year. and someone please correct me if something i said is wrong, haha, i don't want to be responsible for this guy's injurys if i am. Peace.

Funny how massive corporations and media giants like NBC refuse to support new skiing events like big air and big mountian, yet they use the latter's image to enhance their own. Actually, not so funny. Suck it, NBC.

i try to touch the back of my left binding w/ my right hand....that sets the rotation pretty well.

i can do them off shitty springboards, they're simple, probably easier than frontflips or back flips, and not scary either.

I found when learning lincolns that it was really easy to just go to 180 rather then just a straight lincoln. I'd just hit the jump and throw my head to the side looking at the ground and it pretty much just came around...landed first try....until my tails dug in and did 4 or 5 cartwheels down the mountain...

Id say this is easier than a back or front because you can see your landing the enitre time you're rotating.

lincolns aren't scary at all. you can see where you are going the whole time.

Whenever I try lincolns I always rotate a late 180. It pisses me off, I wanna try em on snow but I dont know if its different on skis and Ill either not do a full 180 or something weird will happen.

a way i learned out at whistler this summer to do these is to keep your head to the side front so that you will just spin normal if ur doing the 180 its because u have your head leaning backwards. you can also do flares by basically the same motion w/ your head back intead of in the front. Lincolns i think are easiest invert of any invert. Have fun

yeah big willy I do the same

if you throw a 180 is it a rodeo then?

its snowing!

no, it is not. a rodeo is rolling over the shoulder, a lincoln is a straight invert.

so what would u say the tricks a person should do before they try a lincoln?

your mamma's a mountain (and sometimes you get spanked) K2skies

lincolns are easier than 360s. just pick a point in front of you and drop a shoulder. watch the point rotate and land. the first time my friend and i tried lincolns was on a terrain park jump, and we both had them 2nd try.

1st try is all guts. 2nd or 3rd you should have it.
