Are flannels over?

I like the look of a flannel over a sweatshirt and recently got one from savers. my friend says no one wears them anymore and they're out of style. what do you think?

Why would you wear whats in style? Sounds like you got a dope af new outfit for next season.

Flannels will never go out of style. They're an american classic. They may be more popular at some point than they were (or vice versa) but I wouldn't say they could ever "go out of style."

I'll be damned if they ever do cuz then I'll be very unstylish in the fall and winter. Although I don't think I'll ever have to worry about it if I stay living in Vermont or Maine.

Note: flamboyant, bright colored flannels are never good style. If it's not a legit flannel brand (L.L. Bean, Cabela's, Eddie B, to name a few) you're doing it wrong.

i think who the fuck cares lol wear whatever the fuck you want. style isn't what other ppl are doing or saying its making shit your own. this thread is absolutely ridiculous ...........

My jacket isn't flannel but it is plaid and I get quite a few complements on it. Flannel won't go out of style any time soon.

Who gives a Fuck? Put your flannel on, grow a beard, chug a beer, and punch a motherfucker in the face!

man Im gonna sound like a wimp. but i have had many flannels of all brands and makes. and in my opinion (unless your trying to wear it to ski) nothing fits better than an American Eagle flannel. I still have a few from HS, that shit was 9 years ago dude.

Flannels have never and will never go out of style. The perfect article of clothing from Fall through early Spring.

Listen up op, who cares what style is in? Wear what you think looks sick keep fashion out of skiing. Below is a comparison of you and your dick loving friend who hates flannel. He got what's in style, but you get the pussy.

I wear flannel all the time when I am cutting and welding. Keeps my arms burn free usually and only lights on fire occasionally.

You are doing flannels wrong. Flannels are meant to get wrecked, so $60 is lameee.

Thriftstore flannels for life

a dickies insulated flannel is a necessity for the winter time, tell your friend he has a small schlong

Even being a skittle can look cool, flannels are fucking awesome, especially when you can get them in 4xl from supermarkets. Your friend sounds like he gets stuck on powder days

Shouldn't matter what we think. you like it, you wear it.. i'm into socks over my ski boots so thats what i'm trying to push

idk man flannels can never go out of style. they're too good looking and too practical. L.L Bean makes some great ones. My saga one is p nice too must add

I love wearing a flannel, I feel it's a nice clean look. My friends give me shit, but I wear it anyways cause I fucking like it

False. If you buy a nice flannel they'll last you 30 years of hard, sweat producing, manly, physical labor.

And I agree, $60 is lame. That's why you wait for sales or better yet buy a nice brand from a thrift store! Or you ask for them for presents because they make for great gifts. Literally all my flannels were received as a gift or bought from goodwill. There are plenty more good brands than what I listed too btw.
