Are cork 3s hard?

I have really wanted to try one but I am worried that I won't be able to do it. I watched a bunch of trick tip videos too but they didn't help. Can someone who know how to cork 3 just explain how you do it?

I'm kind of doing more a cork 3 and landing back seat when trying to a carving 3. Help? Am I leaning too much when carving. I've tried having a ton more shin pressure while doing it and it didn't help much

i accidentally do cork 3s when i carve really hard on 3s. i just accepted it for what it is haha

think about planting your feet in front of you like you're about to hit a wall, like really emphasize that. then keep your knees up, commit, and it should come around. you might end up going to cork 5 but it's probably better to get good at those first, then you can start slowing them down a bit.

I had a easier time carving at first and 5 and 7 came easier for me tell I got the feeling for them then the 3 came around smoother

Here's how I did it

Learn to do hang drag 3s. Do them with lots of carving, almost sliding off the lip

Slowly learn to remove the hand and stand up more, sort of butter 3

Start carving more and sliding less on the takeoff

You'll be doing cork 3s ez pz

it wasn't like a huck it and done thing for me, I had to slowly transition from easier tricks

I skipped trying cork 7s and 5s prior to 3s and on my third attempt at the cork 3 i landed on my back and chipped my shoulder blade.

just progress in a logical order, people say 7s and 5s are easier, theyre not lying, dont hurt yourself, but if youre comfortable with the rotation send er

Look over your shoulder....when I carve hard I like to look down like back at the lip but you gotta keep you head up. Should keep you right on axis.

Toss your trailing ski up and drop the opposit shoulder slightly to get off axis hold that position and you should come back around to your feet actually a surprisingly I easy trick once you do it once

Cork 5 is almost a completely different axis/ trick IMO

That's funny, I find them somewhat similar, mostly in the sense that you don't just set a spin like a cork 7 or 9, it's more of a full body set. I think usually people learn cork 7 first, and when going from cork 7 to cork 5 or cork 3, I thought the hardest thing was understanding that kind of set.

Certainly some truth to that. I guess there isn't really a progression to cork 3, and I agree cork 7 is probably the easiest way to start.

Make sure you can do cork 3s 5s and 7s on a trampoline with different kinds of grabs. Take it to pow or foam at first, just to be safe. Also carve a bit and kind of drop your shoulder while popping your opposite foot when going for the rotation. It's hard to explain but I hope you'll understand where I'm coming from.
