I can’t seem to find Ready Fire Aim or Session 1242 to buy digitally.

Is there a reason for this? Can I get these things on my phone?

my DVDs are scratched to hell and I don’t wanna rebuy them and rip them. Been missing these movies especially Jon in 1242 and candide in RFA

thanks for any help!

maybe it hasn’t been released cause it’s technically an Oakley team video?

i think i heard decesare say on a podcast that it was an issue with the storage of the master file or something... i forget

Someone start a thread for old videos that are inaccessible. Or a YouTube channel. I got a Christian Francino edit sitting on my laptop that’s been removed from the internet, need a place to post it

An external disc drive is like 20 bucks, I have one for my laptop and use it daily. I’ve gotten back into dvds recently big time, it’s actually mad nice to never have to worry about internet connection, streaming services, apps, or any of that shit. You put the dvd in and go. I’ve burned a bunch of newer ski movies onto dvds like keeshlife and shit it’s great

I haven't been a huge fan of MSP movies in a while, but the one thing they've got going for them that the other production studios don't, is The Vault, where you can watch all their old movies online for free. Really wish PBP and Level1 would do the same.

Watched Ski Movie 1 and 2 last night. Evan Raps/Skogen Sprang and JP's segments in Ski Movie are so good. Tanner Hall in Ski Movie 2, also so good. Boosting hips and skiing with more style than almost anyone back then. Some super cringe-worthy stuff too (ie - Brad Holmes rapping...)

Brad Holmes seg in ski movie 1 is one of the funniest things ever created

INTERRUPTED IN THE MIDDLE OF A CIG AND A CHEW

“Are you gonna be at x games? it’s gonna be huge!”

YEAH IT IS, FOR THE SAME THREE DUDES! I’D RATHER STAY AT HOME AND SNIFF GLUE WITH THE FLU!!

Brad Holmes hating on wack comp jocks in year 2000, core before core was a thing, honestly before comp jocks were a thing. a true visionary and revolutionary skier. If we didn’t have brad Holmes making cringy rap segments in 2000, we wouldn’t have b Mack making cringy rap segments in the 2020s

Just rewatched Idea. Dammit that was a fun era of this sport. I swear there were only just a few spins over 540° in the whole movie and most were 180°.

agreed on all but yeah i especially miss huge cliff sends and HIPS. how the fuck did hips get less popular? they provide fun for everyone from gaper to super pro

don't miss some of the music and style though. so fuckin 90s lmao

OP, here you go:

Session 1242

Session 1242 extras

Ready Fire Aim

I believe i've got most of that era movies ripped, so you can totally get these on your phone (or whatever else you can't buy digitally today).

Will put them down upon request no questions asked, gotta give credit to their owners.

Is X = 10 online? The emo tony boronowski segment is so legendary that has aged like fine wine

I haven't been able to find it anywhere online. Probably top five favorite ski movies. I think it's got my favorite segments from Boronowski, Schiller, Olenick and Dumont. And we can't forget about UP1. JP and Julien fitness testing. Team Pizza.
