Ar7 vs. LRay

i ordered the ar7s to find out 2 weeks before i need them they are sold out. i can get some Lray 171s but what is the difference between the ar7s and lrays. also what are the lrays good for?

no! i have not ridding it yet, but i ve seen threads saying that they arnt that good, if they have t-halls, that would be your best bet.

the elray is armada second best all mountain ski, i have them from the 07/08 season and they are still holding up no edge cracks! i personally wouldnt buy them again since i just purchases ar7s late this season. the reason i say this is because of the ar50 sidewall, it eliminates swing weight it is so easy to spin and whip those skis around. If you are going to be skiing 50% park 50% groomers, then i would buy the el reys and mount them at recomended or ski center not true center. If you are going to be skiing all park and mostly rails then get the thall. if you ski anything inbetween i would get the ar7 however you will not be disappointed with either ski.
I hope this helps.

the el ray was a price point ski that was poppy, durable, and light. it is on of armadas stiffer skis. it has a wider shovel than that of the ar7. the ar7 is more money but again like all armada skis is light, durable, and lively it is made for pure park but still has allmountain capabilities. if you want a stiffer ski that will be 50/50 then el ray. but mostly park 60/40 + then get the ar7

The El Reys are incredibly durable....like they said above^, it is on the stiffer side. Good all around ski if you like to do everything
