AR7 vs. Double Time?

I was looking to get some AR 7s cause I know them to be a good, stable, reliable ski for a good price. Then I came across Surface Skis and saw that the Double Times seemed to be good for the same purposes. They are also the same price. I am l about 60% park, 40% all mountain. 5' 8" and about 140 lbs. +k for good info. Thanks!

there's a ton of armada fanboys on this website so you'll get a ton of responses saying "Get AR7s d00d arm@da i$ d@ hyph13$t $h1t 0ut" but Double Times are a great option too. jussayin.

I don't mean to offend, but there are a lot of people who like Armada skis as a result of them being very solid skis. I have had my AR6's for 3 seasons now and they are holding up very well and are bombproof (other than top sheet chipping). That being said i'm sure that Surface are good skis, but your post makes Armada seem overrated.

Armada is liked because they make such good skis. I own ar7s and they are def someof the best skis out there. I love mine. I am a similer size at you (a bit smaller) and i ski simmiler amout of park to all mountain. They are just perfect. They kill in the trees and stay strong and stable at high speeds. Not to metion that they are a top of the line park ski. If you go to the armada website www.armadaski.com there is somevery helpfull information on the site about all of there skis

i've never rode an armada ski but i am on this years double times and i like them alot. i use them all over the mountain (mainly because they're my only ski) and they do great on everything. really stable ski and they feel really solid.

i dont think you'll go wrong with either one.

My double times are very light!!!! And ther are wider for all mountain as stated above!! I love em!

Whatever you buy get from somewhere with awesome return service, in case it goes bad.

Got my mine at backcountry.com.

Oh and I have new AR7. I love them

Oh no, I'm not trying to discount armada's quality at all, I'm just saying that there are a bunch of 12 year olds who will say Armada is better for no reason, when the Surfaces are really solid skis.
