AR7 Mounting

So i have heard that the AR7's are best mounted for park 1.5-2.5 back
I guess my question is. Is there anything bad about mounting them dead center??I like center mounted skis and can the ar7's deal with it

Okay thanks!
Yeah i figured so. Do you think this will make a large difference in my riding?Haha i know it's not a HUGE differnece from center mount but i have been use to hitting rails and jumps with symetricall- centermounted skis the past years

Armada recommends -2..I hear that mounting them dead center goes agaisnt the flex pattern(also affects turn radius)
That being said i wonder if that truly makes a big differnce

I'm curious about this too. I get paranoid about what skis say about mounting...

I really want to mount them dead center but Armada Facebook and the ski says -2.5 is best...

Hmm, I see what you're saying there...

I know a guy on NS who mounted his AR7s center and he said he never regrets mounting them there...

Anyone else have any opinions on this?

for park riders. core center, not true center. mount at the center of the side cut. it changes between sizes. find a good tech or measure yourself.

I have been riding on Armada AR6 and Armada T-Hall for the past years

And I had both skis 100% center mounted. and the worked fine for me.

If you aren't going to do 100% center, I would do like T-hall and mount -1.5...

So if I get my skis remounted to -2.5 from previously being center mounted, is that going to hurt the ski itself? (i.e. damage the core from water leaking in)

For the dude who mounted his AR7's center. Don't get them remounted, your going to do more harm than good for the ski. I Just got a pair of AR7's mounted dead center. My buddy rode center mounted AR7's this summer at windells, said he loved em.

It won't harm the ski.
They say that a ski is fine being remounted 3 times before any damage with appear.
I just emailed armada asking them about center mounting them and i'll let you guys know what they said.

i talked personally to tyson hall (claim) asking about mounting AR6's (im sure AR7s aren't much different) and he said for best park performance -1 is perfect.

I have 2013 181 AR7s mounted dead-center, 5'10, 155lbs.

I just bought 2013 Alpha 1s mounted recommended, -2.5, and I'm super stoked. Haven't ridden them, but they're mounted true camber-center.

The AR7s are a little off, I can feel it. They feel huge.

+1
