AR6 VS. THALL

Is there any differance between the two skis? i looked on the website and they are the same dimention and use the same tech.

The ar6 felt alot softer when i hand flexed them to compare.

The ar6 IS softer in the nose. bu im pretty sure the thall is softer in the tail.

both are super solid.

What he said. The t-hall has a flex point in front of the binding and the ar6 has a sofer nose. The t-hall also has a softer tail. So if you want a ski more for rails the t-hall would be better and if you do big jumps the ar6 would be better. Both great skis.

Flex of Thall is moved closer to underfoot, and the tail is softer and more playful. That's pretty much it.

what i was hearing was that the ar6 had more of an even flex front and back while the t hall had stiffer tails and softer nose... but i could be wrong

to be honest, when i was flexing the ar6 and thall in shop last weekend, the thall was definatly stiffer that the ar6. it was incrediably noticeable that the ar6 was all around softer, especially in the tips

switch it - THall has even flex in tip and tail, AR6 has has the stiffer tail softer nose.

Yes when you flex it the ar6 will look softer cause the nose is softer but when skiing them the t-hall will be softer cause the flex is in front of the bindind. Also when flexing the tail you can see that the t-hall has a softer tail.

would i fuck up the flex completely if i centermounted 09 t halls? recommended is -2.5

That soft tip and tail(end) makes them hand flex softer(talking about 09s and 2010s, 08s are real soft all over), but they will ski stiffer than Thalls, which will butter at the ideal spot right by the binding. Hand flexing can be decieving.

And mounting, I would go -2.5 since that is what they were made for, that is wher they will carve better, the equal swing weight idea is pretty stupid(for people that say center), and people who say center can't compare them to where they were made to be mounted. Armada designed the ski so why don't you listen to them..

Mount either 1.5 back or 2.5 Tanner rides the farthest up and hes 1.5 back.

Its because 1.5 back utilizes the sidecut of the ski, getting you more edge and better turning ability. Your swing weight won't be changed barely at all. Just go 1.5 back if your in the park all day. Or 2.5 if your a bit more all mountain.

My T halls are also mounted at 0 and they work great, I am not sure but I think that b-dog rides his centered..

you should just go with whatever you think has the dopest graphic, dont think there is a big difference between them

THalls are softer trust me on this.
My brother has the AR6, myself the THalls. Mine were much more buttery.
