Ar6 size

so i got the chance to demo a set of Ar6's in a few weeks at perisher. im exactly 181cms tall.

I am advanced skier but this time will be the first time on twin tips and first time il be really concentrating on park. I will still be doining all mountain stuff as well.

i was thinkin the 176's. i think the 181's will be a bit long.

I ride last seasons 176 AR5s, I'm 68KG and 172cm tall... they're fun skis and I'm glad I didn't go any shorter, can't imagine the AR6s being very different so I would recommend you go with the longer ones but I'm sure you'll have fun either way...

I've got them in 181 and im 186ish and 72kg. If you are going to be doing a bit of all mountain go with 181, for the extra surface area. the extra 5 cm won't make too much of a difference, but might teach you to ski more aggressively and make you better for it. remember that the AR6 aren't necessarily meant to be centre mounted, they are weighted to the back a bit and that makes them better all mountain. hope this helps.

uthere gunna be mouted before i get them so i donno yet. k so u guys recond 181. i used to ride round 170-175 carvers so park skis should be longer. will i feel much difference wen i first get on them. as in turning. harder or easier lol.

tough call

either one will be fine..

I guess if you are just getting into park the 176 may be better

Im about 180cm and i have 176 ar5s

Would never go shorter, but I wouldnt necessarily need the 181s either

Even with no basis of comparison I think you should trust your own instincts on this one... if you think you should get 176s, get 176s, delve into the subconcious, it knows best.

If you went shorter than 176s it still wouldn't be a travesty.

i'm about 181cm tall and I'm going with the 181 in the T-Hall very simular ski, just softer, if you are really looking for it as an all mountain ski as well I would go 181 if you are going to concentrate on park more go 176, and if you do the 181 and it feels a bit long you can always re-mount like 2 cm forward to make you more centered
