Ar6 edge issues

i've skied about 5 days on my ar6's. nothing too serious, mostly just groomers getting my legs back for the season (meaning i haven't hit anything that would have caused this problem). I noticed when i was wiping them down one day that on the tip the edge is starting to seperate from the ski. on these skis there is a seperate metal edge that wraps the tip and the tail. this creates a gap or a seam where they meet with the edges on the side and this is where the problem lies. all of the other gaps look like they are filled with epoxy for something except for this one. there is also a small crack when looking at the sidewall (maybe 1/4 inch long; this is along the metal that wraps the tip, not the sides). i know that description is probably really hard to understand, i've tried to take pictures to show the damage but nothing comes out. for anyone that can make sense out of this, has anyone had this happen? should i have it fixed by my local shop or would it be worth a warranty claim? i appreciate any help. thanks guys

I just got my AR6's, got about 6 days on them. And they're fine. We'd all really need to see pictures of what your talking about. They could be warrantied in all probability, as I know Armada is really chill about that sort of thing.

ive had mine for a few months and i know what part you're talking about but i havent had that problem despite doing tipstands and the like, i would shoot armada an email and check it out

If that is what it sounds like I would send Armada an email of the pics now and they will most likely warranty them. That gap shouldn't come apart. and a crack in the sidewall can't be good.

Ive ridden mine about 10times.. i know wat ur talkin bout.. mines fine on mine.. its probably a defect or sometin. but yeah get ur shop to look at it or ask Armada

i got them through evo. i sent them the pics and they told me to contact armada directly, so thats the next step. here is a pic for reference. i'm going to get it looked at by my local shop, it may be cheaper just to get it fixed there (assuming its fixable) instead of having to unmount the bindings and ship them to armada.

Check back at the end of the year to tell us if that edge came out or not because im 99% sure that edge will not come out because those skis are made durable.
