April 21-27 trip options?

From the east flying out of Montreal or Boston/Manchester..

Let's get some thoughts..

The big boys in CO are mostly closed. UT is still open in the cottonwoods but might be pretty well chewed out. MT and WY have shut down. Tahoe is still open but can be questionable that late. What's the story in the PNW US? Is safest bet simply Whistler? I went to Sunshine/Lake Louise last year at this time and it was dope and still winterlike snow, but want to avoid going to the same place. Any other spots worth looking at during that time?

Thx

well it depends what kind of terrain, for backcountry, at that time, whistler i would say...but i would be tempted to try revelstoke, apparently its money out there, and the backcountry is a lot more accesible from what i've heard.

But that's not to say that tahoe isn't still up and running, they've had a good snow year so far, hopefully they get more, but mammoth has gone well into june and july in the past few years(not last year tho)

If you want park, I would say whistler or mammoth, they farm all the snow over and the conditions are so nice, but the weather in BC is etch-a-sketch...the mammoth park has been pretty nasty the past few years around that time, big 70-80 foot booters, lots of rails etc..

Kicking Horse closes mid april. I'm looking for more big mountain and glades. I'm old (relatively) and have to ride with the wife.
