okay, so can you apply for colleges in america while living overseas?

i know thats probably a stupid question, but i'll be living in europe my senior year but i want to go to college here in america, so anyone know how that all works?

should i talk to the college first? or jsut like apply online
 
what grade are you in? you cant just apply online. you need to mail teacher recommendations, your hs transcript, and other bull shit. but you should have no problem applying from europe since you're american.
 
Its pretty much the same process as if you were still here. You apply online, and it will say they need transcripts which your high school will do or at least they can give u a print out of it and you can send it in. And then you wait. Some colleges want letters of rec some dont play that by ear, never hurts though so you can ask teachers you did good with to right them now. Allot of schools like these letters to show character and work ethic. As for when to apply, get the letters now, apply late summer early senior year. They normally say they need apps by November for early enrollment (just means you find out first) and no later then January 1st. College websites should have dates and so does collegeboard.com. Oh yeah i forgot you need to take the SAT or a equivalent probably.
 
I'm assuming you live in ohio, and you'll be applying to schools in ohio. for most of them you prolly won't need teacher rec's (cinci, ou, kent, akron, toledo... and prolly some others). those schools you can talk with there administration reps when they visit ur school, and then you can apply next year when ur in england. i don't think that you can apply for college two years in advanced, cuz most of the places i've applied to have fall of 09 as the latest attending date. for out of state schools idk, cuz i prolly won't apply to any of them.

oh and make sure you take the act and sat so you can send that to colleges.
 
haha hell no am i staying here

past two days have been pretty good, yesterday letter from university of alaska and today letter form colorado state university. but yeah

oh and im not going to england haha, austria

and im taking the act a bunch this year before i leave
