i am at home with my computer and the headphone jack hole is lit up red and my computer has no sound. there is a litte cross oout sign beneath the volume. any have any advice?
 
what computer do you have??my friends macbook had this same problem i believe that you have to maybe get the sound card replaced not 100% sure though. take it into apple they are usually pretty good about these sort of things, also is it under warranty??
