App for avalanche & exploratory awareness

I am in the *conceptual* development phase for an app to increase avalanche awareness and connect users, who would collect data and publish it. I need opinions and statements of experienced or no-experienced backcountry users. Do you think connecting users through an application of people who collect and process data (snowpack, stability, weather, human factors, wind factors, etc..) it and discuss with other users would yield a safer backcountry experience? why or why not? help me out

why do you think it would or would not improve safety and awareness?

would in-accurate data come out of people who do not know what they're talking about?

we have one of those in the wasatch mountains check it out. the UAC app, has places for people to share avalanche events or stuff they have seen. it gives a detailed forecast of the conditions. they might be done for the winter this season though.
