APO recently picked up Kai Mahler and added to a pretty solid team including willie borm and sammy. After watching the Session 4 edit from windells it looks like will berman also skis for apo now. It seems to me like their coming up in the ski industry pretty fast. thoughts?

I talked briefly to Will while I was walking up to the lift line at Timberline and asked if he was riding APO. He said he was just trying, "demoing" (is that a word?) them out.

first black pro freeskier was nicky adams...

this all sounds familiar; company out of nowhere signs a bunch of big skiers...

...and several years later files for bankruptcy protection...

it's a good move on them getting their name out there, but if their skis suck there's no way they'll make it any further than coreupt or ninthward did

oh ok, this does sound a lot like the coreupt saga. I'd like to try out their skis sometime.

It is a great marketing move on their part, toss out a lot of money stack up a team get your name out in the world. Then after the contracts are done drop some skiers and keep the big names and a few up and comers.

Coreupt skis don't suck.... Coreupt makes solid skis, I have riden the Candide Yards and they are pretty good. The only reason they filed for bankruptcy is because the lead investor pulled out unexpectedly, nothing to do with their team or skis... how many times does this have to be said?
