has anyone els rode the apache recons if so wut did u think of them.

i just got a free pair from my friend and i think they are the best skies ever made
 
I ride a 181 outlaw (wider version of the recon) for nearly ALL my skiing (including park)...

I can't stand the lack of performance park specific skis have, and need a little more beef under foot...

I love the looks I get when I clean a big rainbow or c-rail at n-star on a pair of "all-mountain" skis....

I don't use the integrated system though, got mine flat mounted +4 cm from reference...

I have my PE's and Seth's but my outlaws just plain kick ass....skiing switch at 40mph down steep groomers while leaving 2-inch deep ruts makes all the women scream
 
Apache Recons suck. My shop gave me a free demo on them and I hated them. Very poor response, not wide enough for true powder use, and pretty crappy edge hold compared to other skis with vertical sidewalls.
 
ye i got some from my shop too, i thought they were way over rated i just felt like they had no life in them, but that could be cause they need a heavier person for them
