Anything wrong with junior poles?

So I could go for some 42 inch Line pins, or I could get some junior joysticks for less than half the price that are about 41 inches. Anything wrong with junior poles, like cheaper materials or lower quality in some other way? These are for park mostly anyways since I have some long ass poles for steep stuff too.
 
i have a pair of both, line pins and probably like 1990 scott kids pole from an auction for f buck in case my lines break. the grip was too small for my hand with a glove on so i took a knife and cut the excess rubber off so its pretty much a cylender shaped grip like the pins, so that would fix the grip problem, but kids poles are lighter meaning they would probably break a little easier, hope this helps
 
you could take the grip off your Line poles if they break and then put them on the other poles.

Junior poles are made for kids under 110 lbs generally, so they aren't as strong, but if you don't care if they break they're way cheaper so...it's pretty much your call on that.
 
You should be able to find out what materials the kid's poles are made out of off the website.

I'd imagine they're all made out of the standard aluminum, but you never know. They could turn out weaker than normal poles.
 
No, I just don't want to waste money on some poles that'll break really easy. And I was looking at the Junior Spicolli's for $20. The grip size might be an issue...
 
Take the grip of the junior poles and put a bike grip on it? Problem solved. Just put it in hot water, slide it off and put a bike grip on in its place.
 
In the process of doing that with my poles. If the grio is to big just wrap tape under neath it
 
Grips on spicolli jr.s are a fine size. they are made of a different metal for sure, they don't break easy, they just bend, and you can usually bend them back, I have a pair. Joystick the shit, you should get some.
