Anything fun to do when the park sucks?

no offense but its not all about park and tricks. you should get used to skiing everything. Plus urb rips up your skis depending on how you do it.

If the park sucks go big mountain or something. Find some powder through the trees, or find some big rocks or cornices to jump off of. It's fun, and it doesn't tear up your skis as bad.

jib stupid shit all over the rest of the hill and bomb runs switch and do zeros off of tiny jumps...possibly blown...

yes you are the only one who does this, but props, my knees cant take it.

go find an urban rail, and session it until someone gets it or breaks themselves.

ride switch, hit lil jumps, charge mad steep hills, jib on lil sticks, go build a jump, find urban, ski trees and pow, find cornices and cliffs, or just ski around.

drops, messing with people, annoying little kids in the lodge, doing spins, flips, twists off of things into powder on your feet to get the hang of them....just have some fun

I guess you could learn to ski in the downtime of park.

'I CAN SKI! I RIP BLACK DIAMONDS BROOO" There is a million fun things to do outside of the park. I skiied park once this year and I've been having a blast, there is life after park and whenever you grow out of the whole image bullshit of our sport and just go out there to have fun you may discover a whole new side of skiing, one thats not a show-off for people on the lifts or a pissing contest with a bunch of strangers on who can spin faster

ski backwards ALL day.

no seriously, just go and have fun, hit some moguls, perfect your technique, ski trees whatever. and obviously if there's pow you shouldn't be in the park.

doesnt work so well on the east coast, plus we dont 'search' for powder, we either know its there or its not, and if we do get any, we all whore it up and its gone after the first day

well i live in pa so i ski on ice also like western pa is. the other ppl arent understanding that we dont have powder and cant ski the trees. so my park has two parks at blue and expert one and a easier one. so just when my park sucks i will ski moguls a little practice my switch skiing bomb hills but sometimes thats boring because thats the mean reason i started freestyling was cause i got bored of just goin down the hill. so just see wateverr feature is the best and hike it

hit little jumps on the side of the trail and 3 3's off them, ski switch down the whole mountain, or find some little cliffs

ski bumps or trees, or have races down groomed stuff, build a jump, jib/bonk on trees, have highest ollie competitions. with skiing the possibilities are endless

moguls are the shit and if u can go rip it up with ur mountains mogul team and hit those jumps they help ur park a lot

western ny doesnt have mountains, powder, cliffs, and the woods are closed to skiing. we have ice jumps and ice groomers. no hills here are challeging. most mountains have more challenging bunny hills.

so when the park sucks i ski everywhere switch

you say just go out to ski and have fun, you are stupid as hell man. i dont ski park to show off to people, spin faster then people. you are stupid. when are you going to realize that skiing different things are fun for different people. you may not like park but you dont have to talk shit on people who do. personally i LOVE park. sliding a rail and stomping a clean 270 off is just sooo fun. you sound like you are the one that isnt having fun skiing if you ask me!

Haha, i dont know if someone else has said this already, but im exactly the opposite. when the rest of the mountain (snow) sucks. i go to the park. but you live in the east i think so i dunno, find and learn moguls.

yea i don't think most of you guys understand this, but i ski in New York too and trust me when the park is closed there is nothing i mean nothing i can prolly get down my hill in around 45 seconds to a minute so my suggestion is butter, barrel set ups, or urban
