Anything better for rails than pvc?

I have a pvc rail right now but its sorta soft and ive gotten my edges stuck in it a few times. Is there any better kind of pvc or something that wont make you catch an edge

i've probably bagged around 10,000 hits on pvc rails considering me and the homies sesh them every friday all school year... and my edge has never once sliced into the pvc. you're doing something wrong homie.

keep your balance. digging in like that will feel a lot shittier on a metal rail than it will on pvc.

If you are shaving bits off, you are probably leaning your downhill edge into the rail instead of flat or uphill.

use more pvc pipe but with smaller diameter.... we used to do (2) @ 1.5" but (4) @ ".5" doesnt flex or chip
