Anyone work at borders/barnes and noble?

what do you make? i'm filling out an application now, and don't know what to put down for wages, because i don't want to ask for too much, but don't want to get skunked and get less than everyone else.

It depends on your age mostly, my friend worked there last summer when whe was 17, she made 7.75, but when she turned 18, they payed her 8.50, she worked at a barnes and noble btw.

I'd ask for $8.25 as a starting point, depending on your past experiences and/or credibility.

umm in Canada 8.25 is the minimum wage..... unless you're working with tips, then its 7.75
