Anyone who think eminem is the best white rapper has been misinformed

If you wanna talk white rappers.. This is my homies older brother. Will post his better freestyle and a recorded song later. Fucking raw though, went I Central Washingon U and he spits just for fun but he is so fucking good.
 
His actual freestyles are mediocre at best, they get stale very quiclkly and often don't make sense. Eminem is a production artist, not a rap battler or freestyler.
 
eminems old stuff is still lyrically incredible. i also like vinny(ie?) paz though, and i consider him white

And guys, Eminem is not only the best white rapper, but one of the best rappers of all time, so no, somebody who's been making music for five years is not better than him, sorry.
 
on one hand I'd say yeah it is because you don't survive in the music industry if you don't put out good shit.

on the other hand i'd say that the length of time someone has been making music is inversely proportional to how good they are because it seems like a lot of artists start to get stale the longer they're in the game.

so yeah, i don't know...em is fuckin' sick though. best rapper period, imho. the stories he tells in a lot of his songs are fuckin' ill.
 
No one pushing coke/d boy rap...especially in such a contrived, unoriginal way should even be mentioned in the same breath as Eminem. Eminem back around Sound Bombing II, and Slim Shady/Marshall Mathers was officially on one. That run of his was all-time.

I enjoyed that kid Logic's verse, really good energy and delivery. He believes it, so it's easy for others to. He had a really old school style, sounded like Big L in parts, and his ad libs were straight 90's which was dope. But again, there's no way I'd put him alongside Em.

Some other good ones have been posted....The Grouch, Cage, really all the Def-Jux guys, Eyedea, etc. but in terms of cultural impact, raw talent/charisma/performance Eminem has to be in the conversation every time, latter day career misfires not withstanding.
 
Man, this makes me feel old. Crazy to think there is a generation of kids that haven't hear Eminem's "older stuff". I don't even know if you're young or not, but either way this makes me feel old.

Anyway, Em is, in my opinion, one of the most lyrically skilled rappers of all time. He uses words like not a lot of people can and has unbelievable delivery. Not a huge fan of his newer shit but it's still insane lyrically.
 
It sort of does actually.

Eminems music has stood the test of time, a lot of these people are only hyped up, like Logic, who is IMO, not very good at all. In fourteen years I doubt people will still be talking about people like Logic (just using him as an example) and saying how huge of an influence he was.
 
eminem's voice annoys me. he just sounds like an angry whiny bitch. but i like asher. but then again i haven't listened to a lot of em due to said bitchiness. but i really don't care. why is there so much dicksucking going on in this thread? it's fucking music. who cares what other people listen to?
 
This is what I meant by white people. Hes the only exception and probably always will be. I wouldnt even call macklemore or brother alis music "rap"

Raps a funny game though. Who knew the shittiest most fuck bitch hot boy would turn into the biggest rapper in the game? Juvenile, BG, and Turk all shat on Wayne and made him do the shitty lines and of course he becomes the biggest rapper out there.

Rhymesayers has a lot of great white MC's but none are respected and known as much as Em as a profound white MC. Personally I hate Em, don't know why just can't stand his voice and lyrics. Yes, I've listened to the Infinite album still no, Marshall Mather's Ep and Slim Shady still no.
 
E aminem is amazing, we've established that. The thing that many people fail to recognize is his ability to produce too. He has some decent beats as well as a whole biggie cd produced by him..

But, like said above, none of these rappers will stand the test of time like Eminem. They're just popular because white kids can relate to them and they have one single that mimics a boi-1da beat

Through listen both of those if you want to, they're the best that way. He's an underachieving young white kid with anxiety though so that might be why I like his stories so much.
