Hi guys im in the northeast looking for a tree/touring setup. I got two pairs of Tom wallisch pro's but one set is pretty beat used it for urban last year so probably gonna turn those into shotskis. I saw the escalators in person they are super light so thinking about putting my pivots on those and buying daymakers. I just want to rip glades and do a little touring maybe big j and slide brook, perhaps tucks in the spring. TW are mounted forward of center so they kinda suck if there is any pow. Considered working behind the wendies dumpster for a few hours and buying On3ps so I have max steeze but I can afford jskis if I just skip next months rent. Just want to know if my idea is well regarded thanks.

Get cast instead of daymakers if your boots are compatible. Unless you are touring up the resort to go hike the park (low key good idea uphill passes are cheap) then don’t get daymakers. They are hard to get on and mine broke when I was touring in some sticky east coast “pow,” I don’t think they were ever tested in those type of conditions.

Unfortunately new boots aren't in the budget, may just stick to downhill for time being, got season passes, so no hiking.

Yo! Shoot giray dadali a dm on instagram. He was a big chunk of the brains behind the design and testing of that ski. He will have plenty of good things to say about it. If you end up wanting to go that route, shoot me a dm and I can hook you up with a little discount code!
