Probably the worst ski ever made

This. Why would you want another pair of ABs? Skis these days are so much better. Skis back then were so much better. Skis before the ABs were so much better.

Anything is better.

Did you ever own a pair? They actually skied really fun and had probably my favorite combo of pop/flex. Mine ended up warping to the point of being unskiable but they were really fun while they lasted.

That probably happened after your 3rd run with them...

My friend has a pair. God dammit those things are beat and he barely does rails. They are probably the stiffest ski too I tried them for a run and it felt like I was skiing on 2by4s.

I have '12 abangs with griffins. Still in first mount. Great shape other than my idiot friend delamed one tip about 5 inches, but I gflexed it and it's probably stronger than from the factory now ha

Hate on the a-banger all you guys want but Line sold a piss ton of them at a low price point that got a lot of kids into the sport.

Or is it a ski gone forever? Asking because I snapped mine and I would like to replace them.

What size you lookin for? A buddy of mine has a mint pair that he used for literally one run.. on that first run he tore his acl doing a frontie

Definitely not my favorite ski, especially the newer version which was kind of stiff, but I'd be down to ski the first model of afterbang, I had a pair of the green ones and that graphic was sick

This is true. It was my first ski I owned but it doesn't mean it's a great ski

Line deserves some credit for trying to innovate and going for it with the skate deck technology but it was not good to go

kids shitting on the afterbang are our 13 year old skeleton riders who couldn't press a butter or couldn't throw a heavier ski around to save their lives. Skiing those things on my small midwest hill was fun as shit, I could still go out in the garage put them on and go hit a handrail just fine with them because those skies where beefier than a pregnant cow.

I skied on 2013s until last season when the binding completely snapped off the wood. I probably could've put different bindings on them but just went cheap and got tigersnakes. Afterbangs are definitely the heaviest ski ive ever skied on but helped me learn back and front 2s off rails and after going to a much lighter ski noticed how heavy they really are

They were a fun ski for a while for sure. After a season or two though mine ended up having a huuuge full tail rocker on them haha. Wouldn't buy them again, but got them for very cheap back in 2008 or 2009 I believe? I think the invader would have been a better choice.
