I'm not at UNH this year but there are definitely some good mountains. Nothing super close but all the bigger mountains are around 1.5 - 2 hours away. Loon, waterville valley, sunapee etc.
Pats peak and crotched are a little closer but i'd say its worth the extra half hour to go somewhere better.
