Anyone ski Attitash NH?

I've been there once. Their park isn't very good compared to resorts closer to it (Cranmore) but their groomers and glades are okay.
 
i usually go up to attitash a few times a year havent been this year yet hopfully their park is shaping up nice, if u see me shout im in all black with 2010 chronic cryptos
 
im skiing there tomorrow, skiied there today. icy as fuck but hopefully some snow tonight.

the park is fucking CRAWLING with joeys. it gets a little ridiculous. i saw a few instructors taking there kids in a pizza follow the leader too. i mean...really?

but other than that its better than last year. they bought a shitload of new boxes and rails and stuff which is nice. and the kids there aren't very good so if you suck you'll fit right in. hell all i can do is 5s and like 270 on/off boxes and im one of the best kids there... stupid i know
 
i agree with all of that, wayy too many little kids who have no idea what they are doing. i mean, im not a hell of a lot better but at least i know to stay out of the way.

as for the 5s and 270s, could you teach me your ways?!
 
I live in Bartlett, like 5 min away. I ski Cranmore because don't have $700 to drop on an Attitash Pass. For reference, that's more than the Epic pass.

Instead I pay $450 for Cranmore, Bretton Woods and Waterville. Perfect.
 
I used to work there, holy shit so many joey's in that park. Unbelievable amounts of parents just take their kids up and down every single lip, it's brutal. But other than that the park is a lot better than it used to be.
 
yea i was at bretton a few days ago. and yea correct me if im wrong but isn't attitash in bartlett? because ive got a house in attitash woods which is in bartlett.
and its like a grand at least for an attitash pass. The only reason i ski/can afford to ski there is because we know all the people in the adaptive center and sometimes volunteer and some of them get like a hundred free day passes to give away. i mean we can't take one everyday for my whole family but we've gotten a good 15. 15x60$ is a shitload of cash like 900$ i believe
was there today and they set up another decent little jump and flat box. it was better than yesterday but by the end of the day some ditches started to appear on the landings for the boxes and the jump landings werent too forgiving
 
i was there all day too. conditions were great and the landings softened up instead of just turning into ice.

i didnt get a chance to hit the new jump but it looked pretty fun; tomorrow for sure.
 
what were you wearing? I'm gone now but i was in a white/grey tj pro from a few years ago. i was skiing around with a couple of joeys and a pretty terrible kid with a burton jacket

did i say i was the best there?chill out bro. i was saying how terrible i was and how theres barely anyone good there. ive never seen anyone throw more than a 7 or anything corked at attitash so when i do ill know its you...
what was going threw your mind while trying to disaster 4 the van? either your balls are huge (no homo) or your just retarded. thats the one thing i wont hit in the park.
 
yea... a flat down box thats 7 feet high at least, and if you fall your going to get your body all mangled in the van...
however that being said the jump on looked real nice last time i was there. it seems the joeys try and avoid it as well
 
Just think of it as just a flat down box.

and yea a joey got mangled on the mirror of the van last year after hitting the side of the jump.

im not mad at all, besides i cant ski, but its all good its just what u said wasnt true

its kind of a big statement to say all the kids their suck because ur stepping on a lot of toes especially when nick idice still skis there sometimes and peter engen was there all last year

but yeah im not mad and the vans not too sktchy its a little steep on the down but its def fun and looks real good on film
 
yea sorry for generalizing, by that i meant in general most kids there can't do anything. i mean whenever i ski attitash i feel like a normal, decent park skiier, but when i go to other places like sunday river or stratton or even wachusett i suck balls compared to them.

Yea it doesn't really look all that sketchy it actually looks pretty decent, just really big and intimidating.

I've heard the name Peter Engen before, but wouldn't be able to put a face to him. Was Nick iodice the kid that used to ski there with the green and white tj pro jacket? I always used to think he was the sickest kid when i was growing up

anyways going to stratton this weekend and probably attitash the weekend after that. ive got a friend who teaches at attitash and he told me the conditions were incredible last weekend.
 
nah, but i do know their park blows ass and the kids at attitash look pro compared to the kids that ski bretton. (obviously theres exceptions, i only went there once) but literally i through a five off of the first jump in the jump park and some asian guy skiied up to my dad and said i was the best skiier he'd ever seen. and again, im terrible.

and as for the attitash park crew the only one that ive seen who i'm not even sure is on the park crew is the kid with the black attitash jacket and yellow pants. hes pretty decent a lot better than me - i think i saw him throw a grabbed seven or something of the like. other than that no ive never seen any of the attitash park crew ski

drew i know u, and u have white pants and a blue jacket and ski on those exact skis so.... haha

(btw, ill be up there next weekend; and did u go with matt to ski tucks?)
