yeah i saw that, i guess the magnatraction worked really really well on their snowboards....even travis rice put it on his new pro model...im not suprised they are putting it on their skees, thats a good idea

my math teacher had a pair of lib tech skis that they made a couple of years ago. they had flames on them and they were the worst skis ever made

Magne Traction is a edge shape. They talk about it on their website.

its like a bunch of these ~~~~~... but more stretched out... I have no idea how to explain it.

some snowboard company did it first (burton?) but basically, it allows more edge contact underfoot by spiking out every few centimeters. kinda tough to explain, but when you look at them, you'll get it. it kinda looks like the edges are fucked.

libtech was the first snowboard company to do it. i dont think many other companies are gonna use it either....they probably pateneted it

Yeah thats the first thing I noticed... 188 is a big ass ski, and its only 98 at the waist.. so its not like it can be passed off as a deep powder ski.

I really want to get my hands on some though.

only 98?! thats huuuuuge

and you would think that would think that make the think that skis would think would wonder

BC's are 98 this year.

What are most powder skis? I don't see any other reason for them to make a 188 ski, unless the edge shape has something to do with it

98 is just right for a powder ski. Lots are right around 95, thats still very wide.

But still, 188. I realize I like my skis on the short side, but even still, a ski almost 190 is just way to big for anybody. Thats 6.23 feet!

Made n AK's are 108 at the waist.

Im just saying... thats got to be the market they're going after, because its 188... I think they should of just made them wider.

sean, 188 isnt that big.. i rode 189 pistols for a while, and i was lookin for a longer ski after those!

personally, i dont feel the need or want to ride anything under 185 anymore.

188 is perfect though. mmmm butter.

you guys are all crazy i tell you, CRAZY.

of course, i'll probably be skiing on 179 seth viscious's this year, not that i want to. thats like the equivalent of one of you normal sized humans skiing on a 210cm ski.

thats interesting. id like a review of those. those bunny things are fucked up, hahah. ya, im riding maidens, which are 108 in the waist, 98 isnt that fat

Thats what I was thinkin when I saw them... they're crazy lengths. I was thinking magne traction might of contributed to that, but who knows.

They would of been better off with like a 168 and a 178
