Anyone riding reckoners at midsole mount?

I originally wanted to go team but the previous mount got in the way of that so had to go with midsole line. Will this still be a pretty fun ski? It’s the 112, but -5.5 seems pretty far back. Won’t be doing rails on a wide ski like this, more of a pow ski

If I remember correctly the team mounting is -1cm off midsole so you might feel a small difference but if you are used to riding team I don't think you'll see that much of a difference although yeah for pow it won't be as convenient and you'll probably end up riding a bit back seated

At least on the reckoner 102 the team line is the freestyle point and midsole is traditional recommended. On the 102 it's like 2cm and 4.5cm behind the center of the ski respectively.

I think -5.5 is a little far but totally not a deal breaker especially for all-mountain/powder use exclusively. Can you push it up a cm or two?

What length is the ski and what binding was the previous mount?

It depends on the model, but it’s a -3.5 to -5.5 difference on the 112

Yeah in that case midsole might feel weird for actual backcountry but they're probably gonna be fine for all mountain so I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you plan on riding bowls and couloirs all season long

Yeah I wish, the guy before me had attacks I’m pretty sure,

they are the biggest ones, I think 193, I asked they said I could either do the midsole line or push it up right before true center. Thought true center might mess with the characteristics of the ski

What binding are you mounting?

I think you'll be fine at the midsole mark but there are usually alternatives if you get creative.

That is true, they are jesters and I’m pretty sure they can be somewhat adjusted

I have reckoners coming tomorrow and I think I'm just gonna mount them at the team line which is 2.15cm back. I think it makes it a bit better for all-mountain but probably won't be very noticeable in the park.

You'll be a happy camper at -5.5 from true center. I've skied the 112 at a variety of mounts and anywhere from -3 to -6 felt good. Especially if you're skiing it as more of a pow ski, it's great a little further back.

-5.5 on 193 a pow ski is totally chill. My reckoner 102s are team but if I was mainly skiing bigger terrain and deeper snow I’d for sure go back a little bit.
