My dad gave me his 200$ jeans because he's too fat now, he bought em because he's dumb. Idk the brand I assume its gotta have one costing so much, anyway they make great work pants

What does the logo on the back of em look like

I have a coach wallet if that counts. My step mom bought it for $170 for my dad but he wanted to keep using his 20 year old one haha.

Id much rather buy something made by a friend or grab used stuff at a thrift store than spend wag too much moneg on clothes that are "stylish"

I'm not totally sure what designer even means anymore but I have a Woolf hunting shirt jacket that I'm in love with. I use it for when I have to actually appear to be a functioning adult not just some disgruntled twenty something who listens to punk rock.

Couldn't agree more.

It's worth mentioning that nothing I say should be taken as advice because my favorite piece of clothing is a black denim best I bought when I was 18 and stitched a big NOFX patch into.

That and black vans and black skinny jeans.

I have a lot of designer stuff, but it wont be near what lawrence drops in here.

I have: four burberry scarves, a ton of coach purses, a burberry wallet, dior belt, dior watch, gucci bracelet, lots of designer sunglasses including chanel and vintage dior, lots of designer ties, a prada ski jacket with red fox fur lined hood, burberry umbrella, and then a lot of designer clothes but probably designers you haven't heard much about.

Also why is pyrex designer, I still cant figure it out to this day.

because jay-z and yeezy wear it. thats a bullshit reason but thats 90% of fashion

its women's shit mostly-- tory burch, nanette lepore, diane von furstenburg, elie tahari, michael stars, michael kors, Marc Jacobs, etc.

I've never been a big one on designer clothes, don't see the point in it when you can get the same quality clothes without the logo for a fraction of the price. Just seems kinda like your throwing away money, but I guess it's more about showing off to people more than anything else

I get that point. I like designer stuff--especially accessories, but only if I can find steals. Well over 50% of the designer stuff I own was gifted to me. I don't make enough money to buy four burberry scarves at $500+/each-- my mom gets them for me.

Jesus fuck that's how much that shit costs??

The insurance agent said the same thing when one got stolen from my truck last month. He made me provide a previous picture of me wearing it before he would reimburse me for it. Not all are that expensive, you can get them on sale, too--but the ones that my mom got me are the high-end ones.

are these scarves spun from diamond coated thread and giant spider silk?

I wear a lot of Ralph, like quite a bit of Ralph. I own an RL suit that I wore to grad and I have a bunch of little stuff like shorts, shoes, polos, etc... Also my dad gave me his oldschool Versace Blue Jeans cologne and a 200 dollar Lacoste sweater that have never been used, so that's pretty cool. I'm eyeing these Nudie jeans right now that I think I should buy, but I dunno if they're me or not.

Damn. I'm not judging. I'm just surprised. I spent like 70 bucks on that jacket. I drove a $2000 Subaru. I guess I'm not designer material.

you literally know nothing.... Virgil designs it and he is a highly respected creative designer in many fields. please don't post shit you know nothing about.

This is the worst thing I have ever read. None of that shit is legit. At all.

Oh ya, people buy ridiculously priced clothes because Virgil designed, totally not cause famous people rock it. Riiigghhtt

I'm planning on buying a NHL jersey, I think the designer is Reebok. I also have a NFL jersey from Reebok. such a good designer.

A $500 scarf? Jesus. Im not saying ive never bought anything thatvwas expensive but damn.

Also i avoid malls at all costs. Have only been a few times.

I understand that some things are more stylish or whatever, not my thing but do what you want. But then theres all the stuff thats stupidly over priced simply to elevate the product in peoples minds. If something is way too much money it prices people out and makes it more desirable. When people are worried about something being "authentic" then its shit imo. If you can get a knock off that looks the same and is similar quality for %95 off then you reallybare just paying for a label. Not saying all knock offs are high quality but theres no reason in my mind for a scarf to be $500 bucks unless it gives you super powers. People need to stop trying so hard to show how much better they are than other people.

But thats just like my opinion

well in reference to the $500.00 scarves-- again they were gifts. One as a bridal shower gift, one when I graduated from college, another for when I closed on my first home, and the last as a birthday gift for my 30th. I'm definitely not one to wear expensive clothes from top to bottom--I consider all of my designer items special items. I would say that my overall style is eclectic. I combine affordable clothing with one or two nice accessories.

Now that I think about it, I'm that way in a lot of things. My kitchen in my condo was IKEA cabinets but viking appliances. Splurge where you get the biggest bang for your buck.

I have a few pair of APC and Hudson jeans. I guess they could mildly pass as designer.

A handful of golf clothes from various designers, Boss, J. Lindberg, Aquascutum, RLX. Mostly swooped on sale.

Not hating on gifts you got its just the number blows my mind. Idk just cant wrap my head around it.

Had a chance to get into modeling when i was younger. Not my world at all though. I guess im just not that fancy. Oh well. I hear you on getting the priceier stuff on sale. Im all about the deals if im dropping loot. Def some plsces to splurge and some places to spend. Im all about 6 for a buck razors but i dropped some loot on a decent computer. Im not a person who never spends money i just stay workimg low paying jobs and gotta go budget life to eat.

Idk

im not getting into this debate on a skiing website. why do you buy K2 skis, because Clayton Villa uses them? Or because you know k2 has a history of designing good skis?
