Salomon made some cord snowpants a few years ago, I wanted them. But I think they'll absorb water very quickly and you're gonna be freezing.

Try jeans, they are much better at repelling water and you will be the coolest person on the mountain.

I skied in cords a few weeks ago, no problems, didn't even get wet.

And corduroy snow pants have waterproofing, but the snow does get stuck around the cuffs.

They were just normal corduroy pants. I fell alot and it was a warm day, they weren't wet at all when I took them off.
