anyone know how to put a pic or a vid, inside a post?

i'm not going to show you how to embed a movie file into html b/c that's annoying as shit...esp for those on dial up b/c then it'll d/l the movie while they're trying to read stuff...don't pots big ass imgaes in the forum. if you want to link to a movie just do a normal link

hmm didn't work adam.
it looks like this.
< - this one is the and symbol (shift 5) then lt (without a space inbetween)
> - is the same thing but with gt so (shift 5)gt or andgt
lt for less than and gt for greater than.
there's got to be some way to prevent the video from loading on the page load. java??? but that would take a bit of time for the unexperienced people.

actually, there is...apple uses it on their website for their movie trailers. look at the code here, but i think it just d/ls the movie behind the image (like javascript or something)...i'm too lazy to read the source right now.
