damn.. If i were you id clean it out and before putting epoxy and stuff inside, id try to flatten ur base. piece of wood on top sheet, piece of wood on base and clamp it together. somewhat squish it back to normal!

If it doesnt, just put epoxy and clamp it together.

Might not look the best, but atleast water and crap wont get into it...

Yeah, get whatever caused that base extrusion out, and then try to epoxy it all back together, you'll want to get that bit of base back flat though, not sure what would be a way to do that, if you just try to clamp it flat it might just snap. I'd wait till somone who knows about base materials comes in.

Firstly what is it? and I figured just like a hook, a sort of long fish hook thing, possibly break it up while inside and then take it out part by part.

Just deal with it. Park skis last a year if you are lucky, so just ride it out because something else is bound to break or rip out by seasons end.

The reason why they would only last a year is if you don't fix things like this. And that edge looks pretty bent up to just leave it alone.

It is on the tip of the ski. Effects nothing.

Another month of rail bashing and the rest of the ski will look the same.

This happened to me a few years back except way worse. Almost a quarter of the ski was split down the middle. We took it to the shop, and the glued it and clamped it for a night, and it worked for about a day and then fell apart. Since your damage is smaller than mine, that might work.

I can agree on the first part of your comma splice haha. If you aren't sure what you are doing and you don't have anyone who can teach you how to do it properly, take it to a shop.
