I am going there this week for a week, just wondering if any of your ride there and know how the mountain is, conditions and mountain in general thanks!!

shitty compared to just about any other season

they got the shit end of the stick on snow this season, probably less than just about any other colorado mountain

The park is so good right now. THey have some cool skatepark type features such as a pyramid with coping laid down in the middle. 1/4 pipes with coping..sick shit. The pipe is gettng good in the late afternoon.

Check it out with De La Soul on april 2

listen to strode, he rides there.

Titanya: But Duff Man, you said if I slept with you I wouldn't have to touch the drink!

Duff Man: Duff Man... says a lot of things! Oh, yeah!

strode rides there... i ride at aspen, about 2 1/2 hours SW of there. Anyway, i heard that Copper and Aspen were in the same boat, last year Aspen got many (5+) threats to sue about their terrain park people, ranging from neglect, to one person at aspen threatened to do an attempted murder charge... people were literrally saying the ski co was trying to kill their skiers. So instead of doing anything like putting in a different terrain park pass, or waivers or something... they just havent had ANY hard rails or Jumps at Buttermilk this year... they are all at Snowmass where there were no complaints last year... At Buttermilk they took out stairzilla, and made the stairilizer sooo much safer... anyway it is now about 3 weeks left in the season and they just put up 2 big rails today (the 32 foot high rainbow, and a dragon tail) so that will be good, but they need to do something so they can have an X games caliber park up ALL year, i would gladly pay a little more, or have to sign a waiver, or go through a guarded gate to get into the park but this is redicoulous, you dont get ranked #5 best park then just dont do anything... anyway i think copper is in the same boat

ok.....the terrain park is in fine shape, you probably won't be disappointed about that part, but the rest of the mountain is pretty hurtin' and it was warm as fuck there (50 degrees) this week so the snow is even worse now.....basically every storm that hit colorado gave copper half as much snow as all the other mountains this season

I would ride there, but it sucks. I have a pass there, but the only good thing there is the park, which is actually pretty good, but it's not enough to justify making the trek out there. I recommend Winter Park instead.

We have an old saying down on the bayou....Blehhhhh!!!

^yah.....didn't mean to go off i'm just bitter about how much snow we didn't get this year. but winter park got more snow than copper (that's where i've been lately) and you can make 20 laps in wp's park easy, even though the landings are kinda flat....plus the launch rail to gap to downslope is way too sick for just about everyone that skis there
