Anyone know about Eastern Oregon?

Well, being a senior in high school, im deciding on what college to attend next fall. The college im looking at is called Easter Oregon, and its located in La Grande. I was just wondering if anyone could help me out by answering a few questions I have about it.

Is La Grande a big town?

How far of a drive to portland?

Is the college pretty laid back?

Anything will help.
 
You should stay away from Eastern Oregon. Eastern Oregon is seriously a dessert. And as far as La Grande to Portland, I think its like 4.5 hours. Stay away from eastern Oregon.
