Just curious to see if anyone gets in on sports bets?

You do it online? With friends?

I'm rocking a parlay for Everton to win X Bolton to tie Liverpool - $10 pays $77

and another parlay for Everton to win X Bolton to beat Liverpool - $10 pays $144

Going to be an exciting weekend!

I don't know enough about soccer, but I'm all over NFL, NBA and UFC. Came up about 1,000 bucks over the football season.
 
so many people just keep their money in the thing while the betting company collects interest of everyone's money

and a lot of people just never withdraw their money cause its like a huge hassel

and then most people just lose because the people that make the website are not dumb and will always come out with a profit - take a simple stat class and get learned
 
I'd agree that betting isn't the most logical thing to do with your money but its far from throwing it away.

Knowing teams recent form, their playing habits and their opposition can wield very clear predictions that will pay out.

Of the games I'm betting this weekend, Everton is currently playing as well as anyone and bookies are behind the times in giving them good odds because they started slowly.

Liverpool in contrast has to be playing their worst soccer in 5 or so years...atrocious stuff really. Bolton with a new manager, and a few players coming into form have as good of a chance as ever to sneak one out.

So, I'll revive this thread in a few days and we'll see where I'm at.
 
Lots of people do, for me personally though, I put 50 dollars in to begin with, got it up to 800, took out 500 dollars, and just finish the year on the house's money. If I run out of money, I allow myself 50 dollars for the next year. As long as you are disciplined, you should be okay.
