Anyone in Bozeman interested in 191cm ON3P Billy Goats?

I have a pair, but I have way too many fat skis, and haven't used these more than once. They are last years? model, with one of the older topsheets. Would love to sell them locally. The bases are like 9.9/10, and the rest of the ski is almost as mint.

Would potentially trade for something else, but would rather just sell.

i have some 186 moment night trains that are in great shape i would like to trade if you have any interest? great great ski but i am a pretty big guy and was looking for something just a touch longer

well the real issue is that I have 6 pairs of skis that are over 100mm at the wast right now... and as much as I like the Night Trains, I don't think I would use them enough...

But I can sell them pretty cheap, FYI.

How much would you want? I'm in Jackson but I've been trying to find a reason to get up there soon. Unless you want some 184 surface new life's haha

I dunno. I was hoping for something like $350, but I am open to offers. They are basically brand new. They have been mounted once, but for a set of sollyfit plates, so the holes are wider, and just about any new binding will fit with no problems.

The 191 BG is probably the most versatile ski in the ON3P line. It's a tree skiing powslayer that can charge and smear.

$350 is a steal. Somebody hop on this.

nah. i'm at the stage in my life where if i'm gonna spend money on a ski, its gonna be a on3p

I mean, I like ON3P a lot, don't get me wrong, but they don't currently have a good light touring ski, they don't have a softer jibby pow ski, and they definitely need to start making the skinny billy. I wouldn't mind a wider soft Billy Goat with a near symmetrical shape either, that would kick ass, like a bamboo EP Pro with more taper.

Dimensions (mm): 143-118-128

Turn Radius: 28.3 meters

Actual Tip to Tail Length (straight tape pull): 191.1cm

Weight Per Ski: 2420 grams / 5.3 pounds

"Good light touring ski" You're totally right. Check back around SIA.

"Softer jibby pow ski" Right again. However, we don't really believe in soft skis. Part of the problem with the soft pow ski category is that it's unrealistic to skiing inbounds. Sure, those first five lines of untracked are just fine, until you land a little backseat and the tail folds. Once things get cut up, a soft pow ski starts flapping everywhere. And if you have to ski something crusty or hard, forget it with a noodle. Hence the medium flex, which allows you to both butter and charge.

"Skinny billy" Check back around SIA.

Hi Dave!

I have been bugging Kip and Scott to try and get my hands on the demos when they are done being used.

And I understand the sentiment about soft skis, but in my humble opinion, a combination of early taper like the goats, and the classic ON3P low/long tip allows a softer ski to be much more manageable in chopped snow.

The abrupt shovel at the end of the EP Pros, older S7s, and Hellbents were what really held back the soft jibby pow skis. Movement Fly swatters on the other hand, bust crud just fine, but I guess they are a tad stiffer than the other three.

But hey, if ON3P never makes a soft pow ski, that just means I will own at least one pair of skis that isn't ON3P.

P.S. how are you liking the Mountain Equipment stuff?

Which is why I love you guys. I'm utterly blown away by the stability of my FRs for being such a skinny ski underfoot. Yet somehow they're still playful and fun. I have achieved full fangirl status and I am not ashamed.

Can't wait for the billygoat jib though. Oh my fuck, its gonna be mindblowing.

My proto Wrens still ride as well as they did the day I got them, and they probably have 300+ days on them now. They'll probably continue to get abused for a couple more years, since I don't buy passes anymore...which makes me more interested in tour-specific skis from on3p.

oops, forgot to mention. I took them to the ski swap, and they sold in like the first 5 minutes! They are gone!

sorry peeps. y'all were too slow.
