Anyone have their cartilage pierced?

ugh, thats the worst. hopefully yours ends up ok. i got mine with a gun a long time ago, and when you get it with a gun it just pushes cartilage out of the way, rather than removing some of it, so it usually causes a bump of scar tissue on the back of the ear. but yeah i got mine with a tiny stud, so tiny that it went through the hole then got mass infected.

id say its been long enough that you can change it if you want. make sure everything is clean.
 
yeah ive heard stuff like that. luckily mine looks fine, no pain, swelling, bleeding anything. just hope im not changing it too early i see all the stuff on the internet like wait 6+ months
 
I did mine myself about a year ago. Had the starter stud in 2-3 months, then switched to normal ones. Left it out for about a week 7 months after it was done and it healed up a bit. Probably should have left the starter in longer....
 
to be serious this time, i know a friend of mine got her cartilage pierced with a gun and it got all infected. just keep a close eye on it, maybe throw some alcohol on there every once in awhile.

keep it clean and dont fuck with it. as in dont play with it and what not or pick at it. otherwise it'll get all nasty and keloid.
