Anyone have instructional crochet videos?/links to vids from crochet cult?

So far all of the videos i have found online/youtube are confusing as fuck so does anyone have any good instructions for making a hat? I know all the stitches just need to make a hat. I've been trying to learn for the past couple weeks and am super frustrated so ++++k to anyone who helps me out!
