hi guys, my bf's mom is down to ski with us, and we have some fulltilts she can use, but they don't have a tongue. We're gonna go up with her on Saturday. Anyone have an extra tounge we can buy asap?

thanks for your help.

Go hit up Coles or Jans and see if you can work out a way to borrow them for a couple days.

I have a pair and I would totally let you use them, but they're in my house, and I'm in AZ.

coles will not just let you borrow tongues. you may purchase them. and coles carries full tilts based on two things. 1) Demand. 2)they are actual boot fitters unlike jans.

people carry different brands, dumbass. there is a lot more behind shops not carrying different products than you think. not just demand. cole sport may have bid for a brand before jans did, and most companies will not let stores that are right next door to each other, carry the same brand.

jans chooses to not carry full tilt because they do not believe that using old boot technology with modern ski technology works.

jans could have easliy carried the brand, they carry k2 crap. maybe coles did approach fulltilt first, hard to believe with the k2 connection, but i know for sure there isnt a noncompete clause for fulltilt. coles also fits more olympic freestyle athletes than anybody, for what ever reason they still love that boot, have for over 20 years. jans also decided a few years ago not to bring in the 7 deadly sins series from rossignol, aka/most important the S7, because they didn't believe in the concept/wouldn't sell. Rossi approuched coles that year, and from then on coles had become a rossi dealer. i know you mentioned old tech, but these are my counter points. and in closing, after talking to both stores, one knows how to boot fit, the other just sells boots.

both stores know how to fit boots. it all comes down to personal preferences.

both stores have insane amounts of returning customers. I hear from customers all the time how much they love jans, and how much they don't like coles. and vice versa. like I said before it all comes down to personal preference.

the fact that you say that jans decided to NOT bring in rossignol skis is just a lie. there was, and still is, a lot behind why that deal never happened that most people will never know.

there is a lot of things that i like about coles and a lot I don't like about them, and same goes for jans.

I just grew up at jans, so I am naturally biased towards them.
