Looking on some more information on where you ski, if there is a pretty big group of people that ski. How you get to the mountains etc. I would like to ski as much as possible.
Thanks a lot -Jonas

I think I'm the only person on NS at Seattle U. There are a fair amount of other skiers here. A couple buddies of mine are big into touring. Another friend is from Alaska and she rips. Are you looking at coming here or have you already declared?

I'll be a freshman next year. Really your the only one? I thought there would be way more. But good to know there are a bunch of skiers. I am into touring also so thats good. Where do you ski? and how do you get up there?

/\ haha we're on the outskirts of the ghetto and the crack bums are nice enough, just hella sketchy.

i doubt I'm the ONLY freestyle skier at the school but there aren't any others that I'm aware of. I spend a lot of time at Stevens Pass and a bit at Crystal (both about 90-120 mins away). The school has vans that go up every so often but it's way easier to just bum a ride with people you know. There are also (most likely) going to be vans that go up to nearby Snoqualmie (45 min away) on a weekly basis. There are a lot of snowboarders so you'll likely be riding with a mix of skis and boards at times.

Good to know that there will be a fellow NS'er on board. I work in the school's orientation program so I'm sure I'll bump into you at some point next year.

yeah for sure. I am actually not really a freestyle skier yet. Just started park this year, hopefully will progress a lot at Hood this summer.
Do you have a pass or do you just get day passes? also how often did you ski this year?

I'm at SU getting my MBA at night, but hook up with the outdoor club. They should provide a good group of contacts. I'd say get a pass at Snoqualmie, at least a weekday pass for afternoon/night missions.

buy a pass for sure, only way to go. you are pretty centrally located to hit xtal, snoqualmie or stevens, of which i would say stevens and snoqualmie are the best choices, athough crystal does have some goods for sure.

How is the Seattle U campus?

How is it location wise?

A lot of fun?

A lot of chill kids and hot girls?

One of the schools I am really interested in.

Campus is pretty nice. Check it out for yourself, everyone has different opinion.s
Location is sick. Really nice neighborhood, close to everything.
HOpefully a lot of fun, I can get back to you on that once I start school
Girls seemed hotter overall then most the other schools.
If your a senior next year and want to visit you can hit me up if you want. Also if your coming by yourself you can crash on my floor probably.

Yeah I'm finishing my junior year now, and Seattle U is up at the tope of my list.

I will probably be out there in the fall or early winter to visit. I will definitely let you know when I get out there.

the campus is small but it's right in the middle of a lot of nightlife so there's a lot to do. You're really close to downtown and Capitol Hill and getting to UW is really easy. The girl to guy ratio is something like 6:4 and there are plenty of hotties. O and if you factor in the gay population the ratio goes down to 6:3.

I'm at Seattle Central. (that's the shitty community college four blocks from SU) I'm pretty sure there are a few NS'ers kickin around there, and I know a ton go to the UW.

if you end up going to Seattle U, make sure to take a trip down to neighbors, you will be sure to have a LOAD of fun. pun intended

haha no. neighbors is a gay club near the school. Capitol Hill (the neighborhood the school is located in) is a prominent gay neighborhood.

fuck really? I think I might cancel my admission and go to Willamette.

Just kidding. I am from San Francisco and live right by a gay neighborhood and wait for the bus there after school everyday so I dont really care to much..............but no I dont think I'll go to a gay bar.
