Anyone get the New iPhone 4GS today?

Right - i picked one up today.... I was totally dis-interested in getting it on release day (am in no way some kind of hipster fan boy), but my current iphone 4 was very beat up (smashed glass back etc and i use it for work emails etc) and i was in the mall anyway so i thought i'd just see the masses at the apple store - rocked up, and the line was tiny, with a wait time of about 10 minutes... so i got all up in that shit and picked one up on upgrade (only $199, so thought fuck it...)

Anyway, long story short.... that siri shit is very cool... and the 1080p HD Vid Camera and HDR photo stuff is great.

Oh and LOL at all the stupid fucks camping out for a day or so before the launch - 10 minutes.... haha.

Anyone else pick one up today? Any profound first impressions?

 
ID PROBABLY GET AN IPHONE IF TOUCH SCREENS DIDN'T PISS ME OFF SO MUCH. MY FINGERS ARE HUGE, I NEED BUTTONS.
 
get the galaxy s2 instead. software is much better for the camera

but i work for sprint and its been nutty today. love making commission. had a group of 4 people camp out since 11pm last night...the new phone is nice, siri works pretty good, but fuck this thing is heavy as shit. its fast, but the screen is alright, not as nice as expected. imo id go with the galaxy s2...or the prime thats coming out in a month or so
 
A thing about siri I found out was the voice recognition. At first, it didn't work too well..... so i looked at the language, and it was in English (US). I am british, so my accent was obviously causing some mischief - i changed it to English (UK) and it worked perfect...

I think that's pretty fucking cool....

 
got mine, really sick except for my camera wont work. just shows the shutter thing :/ i guess i gotta take it in tomorrow
 
questionable. the OS is very similar to iOS in ease of use and stuff like that, and the hardware is sexy
 
Yeah I looked into it and since I don't have an upgrade for another 9 months it would be like 650 bones for the 16GB. FUCK THAT. My Epic will have to do for another 9 months.
 
Mine came in the mail around 10 hours ago, so far love it. Siri gonna be so useful for doing tasks while driving.

anyway, i have the iphone 4 and i recently upgraded to iOS 5. anyway, i really like the updates and new stuff they added to iOS 5 but i feel like it wasn't the wisest business decision in terms of getting current users to upgrade to the 4S.

(Yes, i do know that pre-orders for the 4S broke 1,000,000 in the first 24 hours....just saying)

but i'm glad they released it for current iphone holders

 
Oh give me a break there is no comparison. Im not even an iPhone user and I know just from the iPad os that comparing them is just wishful thinking
 
waiting patiently till next year for the iphone5, 4g and for it to be released on tmobile.

I've got a perfectly well working jailbroken origional iphone working on tmobile. :) The edge network is actually pretty fast considering I think I may be the only person in this town still using it.
 
Has anyone fucked around with Siri yet? I stumbled across some shots of some of the things it says, and it seems pretty fucking smart and witty.

also, my 4S is ordered and I need to get a case, is the 4s the exact same dimensions as the 4, so getting 4 case will fit?
 
this. im by no means a microsoft fanboy but it actually is a really nice os, and its soo silky
 
Can't understand the hype about this siri shit - Android's got similar personal assistant recognition for months now.
