Anyone ever put bike handles on poles?

lots of people have done this. I've seen plenty a thread on this. My armada poles have lookalike bike grips.

 
you have to jerry rig it a bit since most bike handle bars are 22 mm and ski poles are usually 18 mm. Although Fat can poles come in a 22mm, I have a set of odi lock on grips on mine and they are the shit!
 
in regards to this, in order to counter the size difference, wrap duct tape around your poles to increase the thickness until the grips are tight
 
This works well, if you use a good epoxy then, they should stay on very well.

OP if the search at works you should be able to find a few threads with good information on them about this
