I think some friends and I might go jib one tomorrow, looks like it has some pretty fun stuff, and we're getting straight up dumped on here in colorado. I saw it in slamina for a few shots too, seems fun. anyone ever done it? are there any edits of it?

YEAH DUDE!
instantly what came to mind...one of my favorite movies.
I've been thinking about doing this as well, the only problem is that most features at a skate park are kinda small in terms of skiing - like rails are only like 4 or 5 feet long - at least around here that's about as big as they come. could be fun for a little while and I'm sure you could come up with something creative to do.

yeah its fun, just gotta make sure to get the snow packed hard. if its on the slick concrete it tends to be hard to work with. other than that yeah its worth a try.

Oh damn, yeah for sure hit that up, looks super sick.
We have nothing like that around here.

alright sweet, hopefully we'll make an edit or something... now I'm kinda worried theres gonna be too much snow haha, its dumping like crazy here

whaaaaaatt dude that would be a SICK place to jib at!! Make an edit I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to see this going down!!! looks dope for real your lucky to have a big ass skatepark like that..!!

Hah... from way back in the day when I used to be sort of good at skiing. :)

i was going to go do that a few days ago but im pretty sure im gunna do it today cuz i have a snow day so i can just chill there all day

Yeah its sick to jib in skate parks last year we had enough snow to bring a sled with us to pull us to speed in the skate park.

yea, one of the problems tho is that the roll ins are spaced from the rails and such so speed is hard to get. Also, dnt push your pole off the top of the quarter, mine got stuck in the crack between the coping and snapped in half lol

Yea last season i hit up my local skate park a couple times after class, It had a nice 3 rail line to it and was pretty fun to just jib around on.

yeah tranny is so much more legit to ski. the rails at skateparks are usually pretty underwhelming but if you can find a sick bowl or 6'+ QP its sooo fun

Hell yesss! We used to shred this wooden halfpipe behind my buddies house in Burlington on School street when we got dumped on a few years ago. very similar set up to the picture everyone is replying to. Super fun, if you get the chance hop on one this winter.

My local skate park is located like 10 ft away from the skating rink. it used to be sick until the skating rink started "recycling" the snow

If you know Kelsey Clarke, Jordan Clarke, Nate Konyi, Adam Wiz, Thomas wiz or Cam mckay they were all tagged on facebook.

we ended up going to skatepark getting everthing ready and setup and then we werent able to get wnough speed even with the banshee bungie cause inrun was only ten feet long so we hit our first urban! very fun. thanks for all the help though

yeah haha we got there and it had warmed up a bit so the snow was melting, and the concrete was ridiculously slippery with the water and all. the lip and inrun wouldnt really even stay put... but the urban was fun

Done it before but with not enough snow so it didnt work very well. The little bit of snow was sliding all over the place on the smooth concrete.

i tried it today and it didnt work at all... once we packed down the 2 feet of pow there was a 2 inch layer of slush that stopped u

i spy cameron mackay. if you were gonna hit a skate park it'd be so legit to have like a drop in on wheels and you could move it around to each feature you were gonna hit. as long as there isn't too much snow

yea man theres this really bootleg mountain near me in CT that has a skate park at the bottom of it and they blow snow over it so you can hit all the features in it. its a shitload of fun, so many opportunities for some creative jibs.

has anyone every tried talking to a big skate park about puting down carpet over some ramps and next to rails? they did it at my local indoor park it was sick, but small

yeah i have done it. its pretty sketch tho like we have this 8 foot quater at whistler and i tried to drop it and didnt get any speed. so y a it would be fun if u had a sick down bar or somthing

one night we got rolled like three times on some hand rails so we went to the skate park just cuz, and the cops came but couldnt do any thing cuz its a skate park so we stayed

I'm thinking about trying this tonight. Any tips? I have no idea what I'm going to do for a drop in.
