Anyone ever bought fake Oakleys?

to the look they look real most of the time, but when your holding them u can tell. there usulay alot lighter(not the best grade of lenses and plastic....)

just me, but i would never pay 113 dollars for some thing that does the same job a pare that costs 13.

i also think there was another thread on this....i know the guy bought some , might be better to get some info from him.

Before buying, you should do some background research on the website. I was about to buy some back in the day and asked my mom if it was smart. She used some web site to see if they were legit. Well most of the fake oakley sites were made within a 20-50 day period and they all disappeared just as quickly. My guess is that they were trying to scam people, then bail. If you pm me, I can ask my mom what the website is that she used in order to obtain all of the background info (since i probably wont look back in this thread. If someone asks in a pm, I'll post a link here).
 
i'd be more concerned with them selling every little bit of your personal information then saving 100$.
 
there are 'nuf stores around where i live that sell knock off ray bands, they're like 5 dollars and i buy like 3-4 pairs every summer. I think its much better to do that then to drop a hunnit on one pair.
 
I know for most its mainly fashion,

but if your using them to protect your eyes from the sun, dont get cheap fakes. They will genraly have no UV protection and do not block much light.

So if you just want them to waer round town, they could be ok, but if you want protection from the sun, look for other cheaper brands. Ryders are really good for the price.
 
really tempted to buy a pair off here. anyone know how close to specs the reps are? like can i buy lenses off oakley or ebay and swap em in?
 
. Knock offs suck get something real. Knockarounds really aren't bad at all. Better than any fakes you'll get.
 
why not just buy another brand instead of wanting to look cool by rocking fakes?

there's enough companies making something more affordable than oakley and you don't look like some poser wearing knockoffs
 
i got my froggers for very cheap. if your parents have eye care benefits, ask your eye doctor if you can have the benefits pay for them. 120$ glasses became 40$ glasses
 
Get some eastern collectives. They are sick and really cheap and you are helping out a core freeskiers brand which is awesome.
 
I have bought a number of replica Oakley sunglasses throughout the years. There are definitely a number of 'grades' of them.

Some are poor quality while others are high quality. Without a doubt the best fake Oakleys I ever bought were from replicaman.com

The look IDENTICAL to the real ones and they were just $35.
 
If anybody has any legit sites that they knoooow work and dont charge like 200 for shipping if you pm me the link thatd be greaaat. All the ones ppl say are legit are gone. porbably got deleated
 
I bought some real ones of the oakley website not frogskins but they were $60 they look like the ones on the left
