anyone been friendzoned so bad that you go and visit that girl every weekend in her home town about 5-6 hours away for like 3-4 weeks in a row?

cuz there's this girl ive been seein and she lives across the street but every damn weekend she has a guy "friend" from school come visit her so then we never get to hang out on the weekends. and this last week it was "unexpected" but he stayed the whole damn weekend.

im thinkin that she is getting railed by him every weekend. he drives a p.o.s. subaru that he thinks is fast too... thoughts?
 
I was in agreement until I heard he has a pos subaru he thinks is fast, then it became obvious he's gay and you have nothing to worry about.

why are you so hung up on what kind of car he drives? it sounds like he's probably banging your girl, i think you have bigger things to worry about here than his car.

Sounds like he's roadtripping for pussy, tearing it down, and probably goes back to his girlfriend at school. It was "unexpected", you said that like maybe she told you that? If this guy invited himself to her place for the weekend and she was on board, I promise you he's fucking her. This sounds like 100%, out and out jealousy. The car comments are a dead giveaway.

If you care, which I don't really get why you would given you're clearly not exclusive, pull back a bit, make yourself less available, and see what happens. If you're making "playful jokes" to her about how you don't get to hang with her on the weekends now or anything close to that, just kill yourself because it's over.

To make you feel better though, I was FOLDING THIS GIRL'S LAUNDRY AND PUTTING IT AWAY and opened the wrong drawer and found magnum condoms....my face.

i like how you mention what he drives...like that really has anything to do with getting laid. If you've got game, it doesn't matter fuck all what kind of car you drive. Nor should it. People that use their car to try and be cool/get laid are fucking tools.

I had something like that happen to me recently.

I was out clubbing, met this group of three through a mutual friend, 2 girls and a guy. Start talking to girl 1, girl 2 was a little better looking, but my buddy took one for the team the last time we went out so I left them alone. Guy was eavesdropping on our entire conversation, making stupid sarcastic comments, mugging the shit out of me. Go dance because club, so we're dancing and he's chillin RIGHT behind me still mugging. So I figure, "Oh shit, this is her boyfriend." Ask her about him, "Nah he's just a friend. Right bestie?" Give him the, "YOU CANT GET THIS, YOU CANT GET THIS" look. Night ends, catch a cab back to my place. Dude tries to get in with me and girl 1. Kick him out of cab. He had to take the bus across the bay bridge all the way back to freemont.

tl;dr friendzoned dude tried to cockblock and got cockblock blocked. Texted her the next morning all pissy, blah blah blah.

Point being, he's irrelevant to you and your ladyfriend. Let it be.
 
ha well its funny cuz the first night we hooked up was something very similar to this. but not as extreme. and the other guy never had a chance and isn't the same one im talking about anyway... so yeah. nice story tho. i enjoyed it

It is possible.

I was friends with my girlfriend for about 7 years and then solidly placed in the friend zone last spring. At that point I was done and moved on.

I made it out, but it was totally unexpected.

OP, if she ends up getting committed to this kid then just stay close with her as a friend, cause if the other kid ends up breaking up with her then she will be sad, and if your the closest one to her at that point and you help her through that time then thats major points right there

Freshman year of college, I was just friends with my now girlfriend. She was with another guy at the time, and I was absolutely fine with that, we were just friends from the dorms. Flash forward to this year, Sophomore year, we start skiing a ton, hanging out a lot more, going to dinner, she becomes my closest friend. We've been together for almost 4 months now, couldn't be any better. If you can, date your best friend. It's awesome.

Anyways. OP, either that is her gay best friend, or you sir, are deep, deep into the friend zone. If you are driving 5 hours to see a girl every weekend and that shit is not official, you need to find yourself another girl. You probably deserve better anyways. Someone who won't be with two guys at the same time. Yeah.
 
Honestly, like 6 months between when we apparently developed feelings for each other and when we decided to do something about it. Mostly took that long cause we were both afraid of doing anything to ruin our friendship.

I have to agree with this statement here... Just depends on the type of friendship you have with the girl...

I know a lot of relationships that start out as just being friends. I mean how many relationships actually progress from meeting someone for the first time and then full on officially dating within a month? I mean do both happen, of course. But assuming you didn't ask the person you're dating out or hook up with them within the first 2 weeks of meeting them, you were prob just friends at the start.

As long as you don't make the girl think you're just another one of her girlfriends but instead just as her best friend it can develop into a actual relationship if the timing is right. All about you present yourself, and how she views you. Being actual best friends with someone, and I mean really best friends automatically encompasses a strong emotional connection. Assuming there is attraction between you two, it shouldn't be a surprise how this quickly can lead to a real relationship. Like I said the problem is the timing, but it really isn't that uncommon imo...

On another note, I have no idea how you could seriously date someone who isn't your best friend. Like that is the person you're going to be spending sooo much time with, if that person isn't your best friend it would prob just drive you mad.

Even worse, I was gay zoned.... long story short needed to take yoga to get a last minute PE credit. Tried my best to talk about sports and all that stuff to make it obvious I was straight but somehow she thought otherwise.Hahah couldn't careless now though, she's crazy.
