There is a pretty consistent shuttle every Wednesday evening and Sunday afternoon that rotates between Mohican and Horn's Hill
 
Damn, no one? Some of you guys should give it a shot. Perfect summer sport even though its kind of expensive.

Looks like fun. Are there easier runs for people that have never been before? I wouldn't want to be that guy that slows everyone down because it looks like the trails are pretty narrow.
 
No there are no other runs but you dont need to worry about being in the way as long as you start at the back of the pack. Everyone there is pretty chill and stoaked to see new people. Just a warning, there have been people who have broke lower end bikes out there.
 
A used dh/fr bike is about the same as getting into skiing. 250-350 for skis, 150-250 for bindings, another 300 for boots etc...

Horns is about 45 minutes NE of Columbus and Mohican is sort of near Snowtrails. If you have never ridden before do not go to Mohican.
 
Horns is also completely manageable on hard tail XC bike providing that you know how to ride pretty well.

Count on thrashing your brakes if they have entry level discs or below...

i want to get into it but its just waaaay to expensive for me. the last tiem i went i went to mohican with my buddy Harrison Reynolds who is good as fuck, he goes all over the place riding and im sure you guys have prolly seen him somewhere. but ya i wish i had enough money to do it.
 
i want to go but my shit got jacked some fuckass broke into my garage and jacked my bike but damn this isnt far from my house, wish i woulda known about this
 
looks sick! i used to ride alot before I blew my knee and got poor in college lol. wanna get back into it though.
 
Nov 1st horns hill fun day. 30+ people there for sure all are welcome pizza in the afternoon dont know exactly when.
 
I know its a long shot but if anyone finds themselves in the NW lower michigan area there are some AMAZING unknown dh trails that scare me shitless in a small town called elberta.
