Anyone Else for a POD?

Anybody else wanna see a Photo of the Day? (POD) If any of you guys also rock Pinkbike.com, then you're familiar with the POD, and how popular it is. It's basically the same as Video of the Day, which NS already has, but with a still photo. Personally, I think ski photo's deserve the recognition, and would be psyched if NS started the POD.

I'm pretty sure that NS had this at one time or another. It was on the left side of the home/news page, right? Or am I just crazy?

The home page is already kinda flooded maybe when we get another site redesign we should add it in there

i liked the photo of the day better than the current video of the day because a lot of times if i am just doing a quick ns check up i dont have time to watch the video.

I think a POD would be great. Maybe just a thumbnail off to the side of the Home page, that you can click on and see the full thing, like on PinkBike.

i agree. i don't think i've ever watched a video of the day just cause i have to let it load and then watch for a few minutes. when the picture of the day was on the front page it was cool to check every day because it was fast and easy.
