I got my first real wool flannel for Christmas this past year, and ever since then all my thick Carhartt's have been relegated to use purely for trips to to hill, and house lounging.

They are pricey but I feel like they are pieces I will wear till I die.

I gotta check that out. I got a patagucci fjord cotton flannel for my birthday last year and it's so nice. Thick and warm and extremely well-made. I'll gladly spend a little extra for nice clothes that last

I got the patty fjord too, coziest flannel I have. I really want a Pendleton though.

Honestly I love the platform of spending a lot on items that'll last forever, I have a couple pairs of Patagonia pants too that are probably never going to wear out

hell yeah man. They are so nice. Got one in a surprise chrismas box from the local gear swap.

paid 40 bucks for 3 random pieces of clothing....got a Pendleton flannel, patagucci baselayer and a bomb ass fleece. best random box ever

Who tf is paying almost $150 for one of these basic ass flannels

Only wack posers are buying them new, I inherited a few from grandpa and catch them at the flea market occasionally

I have 7 pairs of 5-15yearold baggies. I think they’ll all last easily another 10 even some of the earlier pairs
