I want something to do over Christmas break and i thought hiking out to Chad's gap would be cool. No I don't plan on trying it but it could would be a sick backpacking trip im sure

I know its across the street from alta i did try and find out before i posted it. But i read it was hard to find.

It's extremely easy to get to. If there is a ton of snow though, it can get pretty dangerous up in Grizzly. Why not just hike something that is legit skiable? Chad's really is just a big pile of sand.... nothing to special.

And by sand I mean just small rocks. It's nothing special. Just go ski something sick, and don't waste your time.

idk man, its a gnarly backpack trip in, be prepared for gnarly weather, steep faces, and giant white monkeys who live in the trees and feed off backcountry enthusiasts. I wouldn't even bother, its like impossible to find, its moves around the wasatch. little cottonwood canyon is like the bermuda triangle, it will suck you in and transport you to another dimension.

not to mention mfm will kick your ass/shoot you/curbstomp you/shot you

haha jk but read the 21 page thread about how to get to chads form the bottom of alta... ill bump it for you
