I want to be able to upload movies on my computer and edit them. It needs to be fair priced. Anyone have a good one they know about or own? Please tell me anything you guys know about good digital camcorders

buy a sony for sure. decide the one you want then seriously look on ebay. you'll get it for so cheap. my friend picked up a vx2000 for just under a grand. it needed about 40 bucks in repairs on the lcd screen, but they usually retail for over 4000 cand.

sacrifice, to some its just a word, to others it is a code, what matters is the colony, he is willing to live for the colony, fight for the colony, die for the colony.

pick up a sony 1 chip mini dv camera (trv-) series, they are great cams to start with

phrosty you obviously dont konw what you're talking about. If you buy a jvc or panasonic or whatever crap camera phrost said, it will film good at first, and it will break before youi know it. At 500$ you're best bet is one from the Canon ZR line. And I assure you, you will not be paying for the name.
